Job Site Procedures
We have prepared the following list to help explain how we run our job sites. The list covers: company policies, job site procedures, safety measures and owner preferences.
Company Policies
Smoking Employees are not allowed to smoke in the building and must remove their cigarette butts from the job site.
Cell Phones Employees can make calls or text only on breaks and in their own vehicles.
Food and Drink Eating is not allowed inside the building and all containers must be removed.
Visitors Guests are not allowed on the job site, unless there is an emergency.
Dogs Employees should leave dogs at home.
Music Radios and music are not allowed, unless the homeowner approves.

Company Sign We would like to place our sign in front of the house for advertising and to help delivery trucks, sub-contractors, Building Inspectors and others easily find the job site.
Normal Work Hours We usually work from 7:30 to 4:30 and rarely work on weekends.
Inspections Please inspect our work on a regular basis and let us know about any changes needed.
Regular Meetings We would like to schedule regular meetings. This could be every day or if you are not at the job site will send photos and weekly description of job progress.
Trash Removal We will clean the house daily and remove debris to the outside pile.
Dust Protection We use plastic sheeting to close off rooms under construction.
Floor Protection If needed, we will cover and protect flooring.
Utility Interruptions We will attempt to keep utility shut-offs to a minimum and give advance warning when they will occur.

Children and Pet Safety Please keep children and pets away from work areas at all times, especially construction trenches, debris piles, equipment, machinery and tools.
Owner and Visitor Safety Please do not allow anyone to enter work area without shoes. Please do not bring friends or family by to look at the job until after work hours - when employees have left and the job site has been organized with materials and tools put away.

Parking We may have several vehicles for employees, subcontractors and delivery trucks.

Landscaping Should we remove or protect landscaping?
Alarm System Is there an alarm system, how do we use it? Will we be given a key?
Moving Homeowner Items Are there fragile or valuable items that can be easily damaged?
